Jamaica Feeds and JLA Hatchery to be dissolved

The Jamaica Livestock Association (JLA) has announced an immediate amalgamation of its two main subsidiaries.

Wednesday the JLA took control of Jamaica Feeds Limited and JLA Hatchery Limited under an order granted by the Supreme Court.

Both entities are to be dissolved.

Their operations will be carried out as divisions of the JLA.

Chief Executive Officer of the JLA, Henry Rainford, said that the restructuring is aimed at making the company more efficient.

All employees assigned to the feed mill and hatchery will continue to be employed by JLA under existing terms and conditions.
