Muyang starts production in new state of the art production facility

On the 1st of May, Jiangsu Muyang, officially put into operation and started production at its new state of the art feed machinery production facility.

The new factory which Muyang state is the world's largest feed machinery production and research base is located close to its current headquarters and production plant in Jiangsu, China.

Muyang Group Senior Engineer, Group Vice President Wang, said that construction of the new factory was in strict accordance with world-class standards. And state of the art processing machinery was importing from countries such as Germany and Japan.

Wang stated that "this year, the Group's sales are expected to reach more than 6 billion yuan, of which 2/3 of the sales are expected to be produced at the new plant." The company estimates that production capacity will reach 8-10 billion yuan. The company state that their current international market share of the feed machinery is around 10-20%.

In 2012, China surpassed the United States to rank as the highest feed producing country in the world, with current annual feed production at close to 200 million tonnes.

At present, China has 10,000 feed mills with tha number increasing quickly. With the new research and production facilities Muyang Group hope to be better positioning to meet the needs of the feed industry with advanced production equipment, and enhance the overall level of equipment in the feed industry.

Muyang hopes that the construction of the new plant is a major step in the globalization of the Muyang Group, and are a solid foundation in the company reaching its target of 20 billion yuan by 2015.
