InVivo inaugurates fifth feed mill for the first half of 2013

InVivo Animal Nutrition & Health the French-based global producer of compound feed, premixes, feed additives, as well as provider of lab analysis services, inaugurated its newest feed mill in Java, Indonesia on the 20th of June.

The new feed mill is the group's fifth feed mill to open in the first half of this year. These feed plants include two compound feed plants in Brazil, one pet food plant in Mexico, one compound feed plant in Vietnam and this newest compound feed plant in Indonesia.

With the new compound feed plant in Indonesia the group hopes to continue to consolidate their international market positions in Latin America and Asia.

Built at a cost of $15 million, the new feed mill built for Invivo Indonesia - PT Wirifa Sakti, has a total production capacity of 125,000 tonnes.

The new plant which comprises of a livestock feed production line and a fish feed production line, was equipped machinery from French feed mill equipment manufacturers Stolz.

The livestock feed plant is fitted with a grinding line, mixing line, and pelletizing line from Stolz, able to produce crumbles and pellets for the growing livestock of goats and sheeps in Indonesia.

The fish feed plant is fitted with grinding, mixing and coating equipment from Stolz.

The group stated that the group's strategy comprised of continuous investment in modern production tools in Latin America and Asia in order to meet the two-fold market requirements of additional volumes along with higher quality.

InVivo NSA has a turnover of $1.9 billion, and a presence in 18 countries with 5,600 employees. It was ranked as the 25th largest feed manufacturer in the world by production volume in 2010.
