Vietnam GreenFeed starts construction of its 7th feed mill, in Vinh Long

This morning, GreenFeed marked the start of construction of its latest feed mill with a groundbreaking ceremony. This new plant which will be the 7th feed mill of GreenFeed, will be built at Lot H8-H11, Binh Minh Industrial Zone, Binh Minh commune, Vinh Long Province. The new factory is built in a convenient location will close links to Long An, Dong Nai, Binh Dinh, Hung Yen, Ha Nam and Cambodia.

The groundbreaking ceremony, held today, was attended by local government representatives, representatives of Vinh Long Industrial Park along management of GreenFeed.

Vinh Long GreenFeed factory is built on an area of ​​5 ha, with a design capacity for the first phase of 200,000 tonnes of animal & poultry feed per annum. The investment for the first phase is at a cost of VND452 billion (USD$20 million). The plant is equipped with automated feed machinery and feed production technology from the world's most advanced manufacturer with most of it imported from European and American countries.

The investment in a new factory in Vinh Long will shorten the time and distance of freight to customers, especially farmers in southwestern provinces. The new GreenFeed feed mill is expected to be put into operation in the fourth quarter of 2017.
