District Agriculture and Forestry Director Faruk Çetiner and his technical team met with Tarım Kredi Cooperative Regional Director Ali Demir to review current agricultural needs and producer challenges in Şanlıurfa. The participants highlighted the feed factory operating in the Organized Industrial Zone as an important regional investment, but noted local producers are not making full use of its services.

To address that gap, the technical team agreed to carry out an on-site inspection of the plant to identify how the factory's capabilities can be used more effectively by nearby farmers and feed buyers. The meeting also covered production planning for the second-crop corn season and the efficient management of water resources for high‑consumption crops such as cotton and corn. Officials discussed coordinated steps to raise farm incomes, maintain sustainable production and improve agricultural productivity. At the close of the visit, district officials thanked Regional Director Ali Demir for his hospitality.
