Founded in 1899 by pioneering British engineer Richard Sizer in Hull, England, our firm has a proud legacy of innovation in engineering. Richard’s son, Albert Sizer, made a significant contribution to the industry by designing and patenting the world’s first pelleting press known as ‘The Cuber’ in 1912. This breakthrough established Richard Sizer Ltd as a global leader in animal feed pelleting systems. In the 1990s, the company was acquired by Sheffield-based Walden Engineering and became Walden Sizer Ltd. Since then, we’ve continued to grow and evolve in Sheffield, supported by notable engineering groups including OSL Group Ltd, Newburgh Group, and, most recently, Technical Cranes Ltd in 2019. Today, in addition to our advanced pelleting systems, we provide a comprehensive range of pellet press spare parts, alongside expert maintenance services and technical support.
