The only way to increase or substain steam in the pellet mill is to run water into the mill while its hot and then your gonna have to dry that same product. To bring your mositure level back down for the end product. I would love to hear why you would want to run wetter product.

Maybe you can use a PID controller (with PT100/thermocouple input) to control a modulating control steam valve (try Sarco). Mostly controlled with 4-20 mA or 1-5 V. For the PID controller's input you can use PT 100, installed in the conditioner.
And then you just have to tune your PID parameters.
