New feed mill in Akmola region

A modern feed mill with the capacity of 15 tonnes per hour is preparing to launch in the Akmola region. The total cost of the project is estimated to be over KZT1 mlrd.

The new high-tech feed production facilities have been built for the account of German investments with financial support from KazAgroFinance JSC within the framework of implementation of the Investment Projects in the agricultural sector of Kazakhstan and development of the Fodder Production Program.

The mill was designed to utilise AGRAVIS' feed technology in the formulation and production of compound animal feeds.

The feed mill is equipped with the line from the leading Swiss feed machinery manufacturer Bühler AG, with the plant being installed by German company Bosche Systembau GMBH.

The feed mill will produce a complete high quality feed adhering to European quality standards GMP, HACCP, QS, composition of feeding programs, and formula optimization.

Utilising up-to-date feed production technologies the feed mill Agrо-Trading 2007 LLP will allow the introduction of the maximum number of vitamins, micro and macro elements in the feed formula for a range of different animals - cattle, small cattle, pigs and poultry.

Wheat, barley, sunflower protein meal, mill offal and AGRAVIS premix (special protein and vitamin additives) will be mainly used during the production process.

The National Holding "KazAgro" Group is implementing 417 agricultural projects in the country at a total investment of KZT263.8 mlrd. So far 310 projects have been commissioned by now, with 160 objects reaching project capacity.
