Groundbreaking ceremony held for Cargill's new feed plant

A groundbreaking ceremony was held for Cargill Agri Purina's new feed mill in Jangheung, South Korea.

The ceremony was attended by approximately 200 people including Cargill Agri Purina representatives, local officials, local livestock officials, and so on.

Scheduled to be completed in December, 2013, Cargill Agri Purina's Jangheung feed factory is expected to help in the development of the local livestock industry.

Elsewhere in Korea Cargill's (soon to be its largest capacity) feed mill is still under construction in Pyeongtaek Dangjin Harbour foreign investment zone, Dangjin-gun, North Chungcheong Province, South Korea. The feed mill is forecast to be completed sometime before May 2014.

At present, Cargill owns and operates five feed mills in S.Korea, located in Songtan, Chunan, Kunsan, Jeongup and Kimhae.
