GreenFeed Vietnam officially inaugurated and put into operation its newest feed mill in Pho Noi A, Industrial Park, Hung Yen Province on the 27th of April. The inauguration was attended by representatives of Department of Animal Husbandry VN, departments in Hung Yen, partners and more than 1000 customers and dealers.
The new feed mill is built on a 3 square hectare area land and cost a total of VND 256 billion (USD$12.1 million). The factory uses highly automatic technology and considered to reduce energy costs, reduce dependence on labor, management of productivity and quality will be followed ISO 22000 standard. It has a production capacity of 300,000 tonnes per annum.
While the livestock industry in Vietnam is has faced many difficulties, GreenFeed Vietnam inaugurated the new feed factory in Binh Dinh on the 3rd of March this year.
The opening of the new Hung Yen feed factory will be a big challenge for GreenFeed. However, the company has stated that theinvestment will provide stable development of company with investors, partners, suppliers, demonstrating commitment for high quality products, stable, affordable price to farmers.
Deputy Director of Animal Husbandry Department - Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development, Mr. Nguyen Xuan Duong, commented "We believe that the introduction of a new factory with larger scale to satisfy the demand for resource commodities, products quality for famers, market development, and is one of the largest companies operating in the feed industry production in Vietnam."
