Variable Pellet Relief (VR)

Variable relief: The rows on the outside of the die do not pellet as effectively as the center rows of a pellet die, as the feed tends to escape from the sides. This can result in uneven wear on the die. A solution to this is using a variable relief on the pellet die, where the outer rows of holes are made deeper, thus encouraging the pellets evenly across the die.
