Buhler's Vertica is used for pregrinding, postgrinding applications and it is suitable for size reduction applications in the food processing sectors as well as in other branches of the industry.
ECOtwin: Twin-Screw Extruder
The Vertica is generally suited for grinding materials having the following characteristics:
- Maximum particle size of 60 mm edge length
- Bulk density from 0.2 to 0.8 kg/dm2
- Moisture up to 15 % H2O
Machine limitations:
- Motors from 55 to 110 kW
- Screen hole diameters 2 - 8 mm
